We live at the countryside north of Bergen, the 2. largest city in Norway. We live with our 2 daugthers, at the moment 4 dogs and 2 cats.
We bougth our first dog, a mixed breed, together in 1996. We both liked the Newfoundlanddog a lot, and when we lost our dog after 6 years we started to look for a Newfoundland dog. After quite a few phonecalls to Norwegian breeders, we came in contact with Randi and Ole at Bikkjehaugen kennel. They had a female puppy available and we bougth our first Newfoundland puppie.
We have had several dogs from Bikkjehaugen and have to say thank you very much for all help, and also answering strange and silly questions through the years.
We want to breed white/black Newfoundland dogs because we believe they are the prettiest ones of the Newfoundland dogs. We want to breed healthy, well functioning dogs wich can be part of your family.
Also we have 2 pugs, both from kennel Highesteem. Thank you May Britt and Thomas for these lovley little dogs!
We travel to dog shows in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. This is what we do to get a confirmation of the quality our dogs have. This has becom our familys big hobby over the last years, and we have made many good friends.
